100% Gamay Noir from Baytree Lane Vineyard here in Sonoma Valley. This vineyard sits in the southern foothills of Sonoma Mountain bordering the Petaluma Gap. 700ft elevation experiencing cool windy conditions during the growing season. Producing high concentrations of flavor and structure.
With Gamay on the rise here in California we jumped on the opportunity create an expression that could match those of Cru Beaujolais. Also having this site just 10 minutes from the cottage made it feel even more at home being in our backyard.
