100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 2 different vineyards in Sonoma County. The Prati Vineyard up in Asti California in the Alexander Valley AVA. 7 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1998 which we farmed by hand. We sold the majority of the crop to smaller producers and kept 1 ton for ourselves producing just 2 barrels from this site.
With Alexander Valley producing a richer style we decided to blend it with some younger vines from the Carriger Vineyard here in Sonoma Valley. Providing freshness and balance to create a juicy fruit forward yet complex Cabernet Sauvignon.
